Dear Brethren and Co-Workers with Christ,
Greetings from Charlotte, NC! A very significant movement is happening in the United States right now. Our “mainstream media” is clearly determined to destroy the presidency of President-elect Donald Trump even before he gets a chance to take office! They are coming out with every possible and conceivable negative thing they can find out about him. They then “frame” these issues in such a way as to make Mr. Trump look “bad”!
As most of you know, I have tried to avoid political positions. And I have avoided saying anything “political” as much as possible during this recent presidential election. Yet, at the age of 86, I have carefully observed every presidential election since 1948, when I personally drove to the Union Station in Joplin, Missouri to hear Thomas Dewey in his presidential campaign against Harry Truman. Back then and all the years since I have never experienced such a confused and divided electorate in our nation. I have never experienced the type of continuous, vitriolic and sometimes hateful attacks of one presidential candidate against another—and often amplified and exaggerated by our super-liberal media.
What most people in the United States and most of the Western democracies do not understand is the unseen power of the spirit world. Our intellectual leaders rarely tell us or help us understand that, together, the British-descended and American people have been used by God—over centuries—to send out more missionaries, more doctors, more Bibles, and more “help” of many kinds to other nations than all other nations on the earth combined! They do not like to accept the fact that the Anglo-Saxon Celtic people of these nations are directly descended from the ancient House of Israel. That we are, in fact, the so-called “Lost Ten Tribes of ancient Israel.” For absolute proof of this, be sure to request our outstanding booklet explaining this truth. But a very real Satan the Devil wants to destroy the descendants of God’s people Israel. He wants to keep us, if possible, from returning to our original, biblical roots. And Satan has millions of demons to assist him in this quest. Near the end of His human life, even Jesus Christ Himself stated clearly, “The ruler of this world is coming, and he has nothing in Me” (John 14:30). And God inspired the Apostle Paul to describe Satan as “The prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience” (Ephesians 2:2).
Several passages in the Old Testament make it clear that—under the surface—there is often a spirit war going on in the struggles between the various carnal nations of this world. So these major nations are, and have been, influenced by Satan the Devil in an effort to fight God’s will in many matters. A fascinating account of this is given in Daniel 10 in the Old Testament of your own Bible.
The key lesson for true Christians in all of this is that we are to come out of this present society and its politics, which is often heavily influenced by Satan the Devil. As Jesus said, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so that I should not be delivered to the Jews; but now My kingdom is not from here” (John 18:36). In like manner, our kingdom—the real Government authority we look to—is not of this present society. We are not to be “fighting” for either President Obama, President Trump or any other man in politics. Our ultimate loyalty is to Jesus Christ, the genuine King, who will soon be setting up an everlasting Kingdom on this earth. We must come to focus on this and recognize that it is a very real Government with authority over the nations of this earth and it is coming soon. We must recognize that our job is to “go all out” in preparing the way for that very real Government, which this world desperately needs!
As the Apostle Paul was inspired to tell us: “For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself” (Philippines 3:20-21).
Each of us, dear brethren and co-workers, must be preparing for our genuine “citizenship” in Christ’s coming Government soon to be set up on this earth. This Government will rule over the United States, Britain, Canada, Germany, Russia, China, etc. Our government officials probably will not like to hear about this. We may be persecuted for calling this a literal government as time goes on. But we are not called to try to overthrow any human government to make way for Christ’s Government. Believe me, He will take care of that!
When you read about how He is going to come with total power, it makes you realize that—if you are going to believe what the Bible actually says—a powerful “overthrow” of all the governments of this earth is soon going to take place! In fact, as I have told you before, it is almost eerie to realize that in the next several years, millions of Europeans will probably be so deceived by the coming great False Prophet that they will literally “fight” the living Jesus Christ as He returns to this earth! After describing how ten kings—or leaders of various European nations—will get together in what becomes the “Beast Power,” God Almighty tells us in His Word, “These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, for He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those who are with Him are called, chosen, and faithful” (Revelation 17:14).
As Revelation 12 makes plain, there are indeed “spirit wars” definitely prophesied to happen within the next several years of your life! So you and I need to focus on the reality of the Creator God and the absolute power of His Word and decide to “give ourselves” over to Christ, the coming King, or else we will be taken over by Satan through his various deceptions.
Please, co-workers and brethren, try to totally commit yourself to the God of the Bible and to His coming Kingdom! It is very real! It is coming relatively soon—sooner than many people believe! Those of us in this Work are going “all out” to prepare the way for that coming Government. We are trying to train those people who could be literal kings and priests assisting Christ in ruling this world in His coming Kingdom. We are a “team” to help prepare the way for Christ’s return and to prepare a “people for God” who really will surrender their lives to do His will and His Work with all their hearts! May God make each one of you more willing to be an active part of that “team” and be rewarded forever because you have been willing to totally commit to the genuine future and to the real Government which will soon rule this earth and the entire universe.
