Dear Tomorrow’s World subscriber,
A warm welcome to thousands of new subscribers to Tomorrow’s World since my last personal letter to all subscribers. About twice a year, as many of you know, I try to write a personal letter to all of you—especially you new subscribers—to let you know what this Work is all about. And please keep reading! For I have a special free offer to tell you about later in this letter. Since we now have well over 400,000 of you who will receive this letter, I hope it will be helpful to you to have a personal insight into the Work that we are doing, why this Work exists and what our plans are for the future. As many of you know, this is the Work of the living Christ—it is a Work of faith. Because we truly try to follow the Bible and trust in God, we have been given special insight into the truly big events and trends which will be affecting your life in the next several years.
We are now on the verge of a new “Cold War” with Russia because of its aggression in Crimea, in Ukraine and perhaps beyond by the time you receive this letter. Because the United States has had the pride of its power “broken” (see Leviticus 26:19), it will not be able to do too much, and its efforts in slowing down Russia’s aggression are very weak and tentative. Because of the United States’ weakness and uncertain leadership, many more “hot wars” could break out at any time in the Ukraine, in Eastern Europe, in the Chinese/Japanese battle over control of the islands in the South China Sea, over North Korean aggression as they develop nuclear weapons, and regarding the Israeli-Iran crisis, etc. There are probably now more “little wars” going on around the world than at any time in history (Matthew 24:6-7). And, with so many nations having dictatorial and unstable men in charge, the “weapons of mass destruction” really can be used to destroy mankind at any time as Jesus indicated (Matthew 24:21-22)!
Meanwhile, Satan the Devil is trying to destroy not only God’s true Church, but the entire human race! Satan is now described as the “god” of this present world (2 Corinthians 4:4). And Satan is directly called the “father of lies” and a “murderer” (John 8:44). The Word of God describes Satan—under the guise of a serpent—as more “cunning” than any other creature (Genesis 3:1).
In addition to the growing threats of war and possible annihilation by nuclear weapons, etc., Satan the Devil has somehow seduced many of the leaders in our supposedly “educated” nations into accepting and promoting very grotesque and destructive policies to come into being which will eventually undermine the life and the happiness of all humanity. These policies and programs will bring about untold sorrow and a sense of loneliness and emptiness beyond anything human beings have ever experienced. All of us humans were created “in the image of God” and intended to be full sons of God in His Kingdom and His Family in the future. We are supposed to take care of our bodies, to build strong families, to build the kind of lives and strength within ourselves to become the “kings and priests” which God is now preparing to rule with Jesus Christ in His soon-coming Government on this earth (Revelation 5:8-10). Our Creator’s Instruction Manual (the Bible) tells us very clearly through Jesus Christ: “Have you not read that He who made them at the beginning ‘made them male and female,’ and said, ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’?” (Matthew 19:4-5).
Our supposedly “educated” leaders are trying to change the established pattern of family life which has served mankind well for over 6,000 years! Satan, as we see, is very subtle. He has influenced many of our politicians and even religious leaders to call this a sign of “progress”! Almighty God warns us powerfully in His inspired Word, “There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death” (Proverbs 14:12). And again God warns us, “Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!.... Therefore, as the fire devours the stubble, and the flame consumes the chaff, so their root will be as rottenness, and their blossom will ascend like dust; because they have rejected the law of the Lord of hosts, and despised the word of the Holy One of Israel” (Isaiah 5:20, 24).
Frankly, my friends, this Work which publishes the Tomorrow’s World magazine is actually a “Crusade for Sanity.” We are among the very few voices on this earth warning of the real dangers just ahead for all humanity and proclaiming the ultimate “solution” and the glorious future for those willing to sincerely serve and obey their Creator!
By the time many of you read this letter, I will have been involved full-time in the Work of the living Christ for 62 years. As many of you know, I graduated from Ambassador College in the spring of 1952, and assisted Herbert W. Armstrong in the powerful Work that God gave him to do from the 1930s clear up until his death in 1986. Then, as confused individuals took over and virtually “wrecked” the Work and destroyed about every vestige of God’s Truth which Mr. Armstrong had been used to restore, I was guided by God to “revive the Work” in December 1992—almost exactly 40 years from my ordination by Mr. Armstrong on December 20, 1952. God gave me those 40 years of trials and tests to help me, humble me, teach me, and develop me to be able to lead the Work at this time. God has greatly blessed the Work mightily, and we are now proclaiming God’s Truth over television, the Internet, through our magazine and in personal evangelistic campaigns more powerfully than any other similar organization! As I indicated earlier on, our Tomorrow’s World print run is now over 480,000 copies!
In the midst of the dramatic events occurring in Eastern Europe this year, God has opened up yet another big door to now broadcast the Tomorrow’s World telecast. This time, to all of Ukraine in the Ukrainian language! Programming should start later in April 2014 on the powerful Amos2 satellite in Ukraine and also on YouTube at Youtube.com/ZavtrashniySvit anywhere in the world. Furthermore, the program in the Russian language is on a powerful satellite television network that reaches every continent except Australia and Antarctica, making it available from Canada to Russia, from Poland to North Korea, and all points between. The Russian telecasts are also available from our Russian Web site, www.zavtrashnimir.org, and from our Roku channel. The telecast can be seen on Roku in high definition any time, and in English, French, Spanish, Chinese and now Russian. In South Africa, the expanded television coverage we obtained last year is producing 70% more responses. Another major development is the beginning of the French telecasts by Mr. Yvon Brochu, produced in Canada. The first telecast, released on January 2, 2014, recorded more than 700 views during its first two weeks online.
The Tomorrow’s World television program generated 211,975 responses in 2013 in North America, with about 82,127 of them coming from first-time responders. In 2014, we have received so far 52,959 responses to the program.
The updated Tomorrow’s World Web site was launched in March 2014, after more than a year of development, server upgrades, database upgrades, security upgrades, a complete redesign and the migration of more than 1,000 pieces of content. In addition to the new design and the optimization for computers, tablets and mobile devices, you will also find very helpful new functionalities in the new site. Also, in February 2014 we launched a small, specialty Web site targeting only those who live in the modern state of Israel, www.IsraelinBibleProphecy.org. We hope to add soon some more specific videos that would be of interest to those currently living in Israel.
In 2013, the Spanish Web site, MundoManana.org, recorded 230,000 unique visitors, a 400% increase (compared to the 46,000 unique visitors in 2012). They came from 147 countries and territories. These visitors saw more than 500,000 pages and downloaded 288,000 items. In addition, more than 60,000 telecasts have been watched from our Spanish YouTube channel, jumping from 1,245 views in January 2013 to more than 20,000 views in January 2014! More than 100 telecasts recorded by Mr. Hernandez are available. Additionally, last year, 270 students registered for the online Bible Study Course at curso-biblia.org.
In 2013, traffic on the French Web site, MondeDemain.org, increased by 32% with 460,000 visitor-sessions, and the number of page views surpassed the million mark for the second year in a row. We have also received more than 2,600 literature requests and contact forms (57% increase compared with 2012). The most active countries were France, Canada, Belgium, USA, Ivory Coast, Haiti, Switzerland and Cameroon. In addition to the main Web site, 814 new students registered for the online Bible Study Course in 2013. These new students along with those who registered in previous years represent more than 2,300 people who actively studied the online BSC in 2013.
As we continue to put the Great Commission first, God has continued to greatly bless our Internet and Social Media efforts! Our main Tomorrow’s World Facebook page is approaching 80,000 fans and has a daily reach of almost one million people! And we have also been working hard to reach people in French, Spanish, Dutch, Russian and many other languages. We have launched our new Ukraine YouTube channel and Web site (www.zavtrashniysvit.org), our growing Russian YouTube channel and Web site (www.Завтрашниймир.com), made improvements in our Dutch Web site (www.wereldvanmorgen.org) and our German Web site (www.weltvonmorgen.org), and our French Facebook page (LeMondeDeDemain) has now grown to more than 32,000 “Likes” (fans)—often reaching more than 220,000 people in a single day! Our Spanish Facebook page now has almost 13,000 fans and often reaches more than 185,000 in a day! Our main YouTube page (Youtube.com/tomorrowsworldtv) increased from about 1.9 million views in April 2013 to almost 3.8 million views today! Our French YouTube channel increased from about 10,000 views to more than 24,000 and our Spanish channel increased from about 60,000 views to more than 164,000 views in the same period. We are very thankful for God blessing us with this tremendous growth and for the people He is calling through our Web sites and Social Media pages!
Truly, this is a worldwide Work, with many thousands attending our 48 Feast of Tabernacles sites in 32 countries around the globe last year. Many of those becoming involved in this Work are “brand new” people—individuals who had never heard about Mr. Armstrong or had no contact with him or the Church or the Work he founded. It should be obvious to all who question this that the Work of God is not yet over! For God is indeed “calling” thousands of new people and many hundreds are responding each year. In this Work of the living Christ, you and I can have part in reaching additional millions of human beings all over this earth with God’s full Truth! We have been given an understanding of the very purpose for human existence, and how to achieve that purpose. We need to share it with others.
Also, God’s people often speak of the “Ezekiel warning” which we in this Work certainly give powerfully. We need to let our fellow citizens of the British-descended and American peoples know their national identity and how Almighty God is going to intervene and punish those peoples who have had every blessing and yet turned their backs on God. We must get this message out powerfully to the world! And with all our hearts, we are trying to do just that in this Work.
Then, we bring people into relationship with others who believe the same things and try to “prepare a people” for God—those who are truly being trained as the kings and priests Christ is now preparing to rule under Him in Tomorrow’s World (Revelation 5:9-10). In this Work, we often refer to “co-workers” who are helping the Work. These are thousands who have voluntarily chosen to become among those who give generously of tithes and offerings to help support the very Work of the living Christ. After an individual donates to this Work at least twice in one year, we automatically make him or her a “co-worker,” who will be sent the “co-worker letter” which I send out once a month to all those who show this interest in the Work of God. In this letter, you receive additional spiritual information about Christian living, about late breaking prophetic events, and insider’s news of the Work which you are involved in. So I hope many of you will want to take this opportunity.
Also, many have asked about how they can learn about the Living Church of God which sponsors this Work. If you want to know more and you would like to request a “visit” from one of our ministers or one of our representatives, please write us, call us or email us and simply ask for a “visit” from one of our ministers. As we have ministers and representatives all over the earth, we will try to get back to you within a few weeks and arrange to visit you at some neutral place or at your home if you wish. You will not be pressured to “join” anything or to do anything. Our minister or trained representative will simply explain more in detail about the purpose of life, about what the teaching of the Bible really does involve, and how you can meet with others of like faith if you wish. So, again, call us or write us at the address listed in your copy of the Tomorrow’s World magazine and let us know if you would like to request a visit from one of our ministers. Our minister will have someone else with him when he visits you, perhaps his wife or another minister, and will be happy to meet you in a public place or at your home—whichever you prefer. This visit may truly be a “life changing” experience if you are genuinely interested in acting on the Truth that God may be revealing to you through His Work on earth today.

As I approach my 84th birthday, I am genuinely driving myself to proclaim God’s warning messages to the nations of this world with all my heart. Mr. Richard Ames, Dr. Douglas Winnail, Mr. Gerald Weston and many of our other top leaders are working just as hard. We are a unified “team” in every sense of the word. Christ is using us powerfully to proclaim God’s warning messages to our peoples and to the entire world and give genuine understanding to increasing millions of human beings over television and the Internet about the real purpose of human existence, and the horrible things just about to happen. If you don’t yet “get it,” please wake up! Recognize that the prophesied wars, horrifying disease epidemics and very unusual earthquakes and storms which God clearly prophesied really are going to strike our peoples within the very next few years. After my decades in Christ’s service, I honestly “see” these things beginning to happen more than ever before. Please understand—for the sake of you and your families—“don’t just sit there”! Act on the Truth and give your life to God and obey your Creator and begin to actively serve Him while you have this opportunity. May God guide your lives and bless and lead you in every way as you respond to Him and “walk” with God and with Christ as the end of this age and the Second Coming of Christ swiftly approaches. May God be with you and guide you.
