Dear Tomorrow’s World Subscriber,
Greetings and welcome, especially to all of you new subscribers to Tomorrow’s World magazine! We are grateful to be able to serve you. In the months and years ahead, I know that you will grasp the fact that you are gaining more genuine understanding of specific prophetic events and of the very meaning of life than ever before. Also, near the end of this letter, I have a very special free offer for you—so keep on reading!
Truly staggering events are destined to take place within the next five to 10 years of your life! Although Christ may not come within that period, quite a number of amazing things will happen or begin to happen. In this Work of the living Christ, we are given genuine understanding of the prophesied events which most ministers and students of “mainstream Christianity” simply cannot understand. The malaise now taking place in Europe because of the recent upsets in the French and Greek elections is destined to bring about a restructuring of Europe. Within the next few years, Britain will no longer be part of the European Union! It will either get out or be pushed out! Notice this startling report from London Daily Express: “SENIOR Eurocrats are secretly plotting to create a super-powerful EU president to realise their dream of abolishing Britain, we can reveal. A covert group of EU foreign ministers has drawn up plans for merging the jobs currently done by Herman Van Rompuy, president of the European Council, and Jose Manuel Barroso, president of the European Commission. The new bureaucrat, who would not be directly elected by voters, is set to get sweeping control over the entire EU and force member countries into ever-greater political and economic union. Tellingly, the UK has been excluded from the confidential discussions within the shady ‘Berlin Group’ of Europhile politicians, spearheaded by German foreign minister Guido Westerwelle…. Opponents fear the plan could create a modern-day equivalent of the European emperor envisaged by Napoleon Bonaparte or a return to the Holy Roman Empire of Charlemagne that dominated Europe in the Dark Ages….” Euro-MP Paul Nattall, of the UK Independence Party stated: “The only hope for Britain is to leave the EU and become an independent nation [emphasis ours]” (May 4, 2012).
From this turmoil, a powerful leader will emerge whom your Bible calls the “Beast” in Revelation 17. As stated in the news release quoted above, this will be “a return to the Holy Roman Empire”! Also, because of the financial, political and religious chaos in Europe, a powerful resurgence of the Roman Catholic Church will take place. It will be truly stunning. And it will be powerful! For a charismatic, miracle-working pope will arise. All kinds of “miracles,” visions of the Virgin Mary and other strange sights and events will begin to take place—startling many and causing many to return to the historical “mother church” of Rome. Many tens of millions will return to their Catholic heritage throughout Europe. As all of this occurs, the Great Tribulation prophesied by Jesus Christ (Matthew 24) will soon occur.
Will you and your family be “raptured” off to heaven at this time? Is that your future? What is really going to happen to you and your loved ones in the years just ahead as these events actually begin to unfold? A shocking report has just come to my desk from Reuters news:
“Nearly 15 percent of people worldwide believe the world will end during their lifetime and 10 percent think the Mayan calendar could signify it will happen in 2012, according to a new poll.
The end of the Mayan calendar, which spans about 5,125 years, on December 21, 2012 has sparked interpretations and suggestions that it marks the end of the world.
‘Whether they think it will come to an end through the hands of God, or a natural disaster or a political event, whatever the reason, one in seven thinks the end of the world is coming,’ said Keren Gottfried, research manager at Ipsos Global Public Affairs which conducted the poll for Reuters.
‘Perhaps it is because of the media attention coming from one interpretation of the Mayan prophecy that states the world ‘ends’ in our calendar year 2012,’ Gottfried said, adding that some Mayan scholars have disputed the interpretation” (May 1, 2012).
Amazing! One in seven people worldwide think the world will end in their lifetime. And millions of “Evangelical Christians” think they will be “raptured” away from the coming Great Tribulation. But what does your Bible really say? What specific events should you watch for to know what lies just ahead? How can you be sure of the meaning of end-time events? I have a special offer for you at the end of this letter which can help you fully understand these very questions.
Besides the vastly changed conditions in Europe over the next few years, America, Britain, Canada, Australia and New Zealand will begin to “wither away” unless we truly repent and begin to serve the God of the Bible. There will be a massive financial malaise along with the destruction of the dollar during these years. Awesome weather, tremendous storms and earthquakes and other upsets will occur in the United States, Canada, Britain, Australia and New Zealand. For, though most do not understand, we are the promised “birthright” people who have been given the magnificent blessings of the temperate areas of the earth, control of the vastly important “sea gates” and many other blessings because of Abraham’s obedience. But we have turned away from the true God.
Now, these blessings are being swiftly removed because of our rebellion against the Creator who guides the rise and fall of nations. Meanwhile, this very Work of the living God will grow in power and effectiveness. We will reach increasing millions of people all over this earth—especially the English-speaking peoples, and also those speaking French, Spanish or Chinese, and the peoples of Eastern Europe, etc. For, somewhere on this earth, the Eternal God has a true Church which will preach the Gospel of the coming Kingdom or Government of God to a very confused world (Matthew 24:14).
Though very small, the “little flock” is described by Jesus Christ in Luke 12:32 and by the inspired Apostle John in Revelation 12 as a tiny Church fleeing the final “holocaust” against the saints of God. Notice Christ’s inspired description of this time when Satan has been cast down to the earth at the very end and begins to persecute the true people of God: “Now when the dragon saw that he had been cast to the earth, he persecuted the woman who gave birth to the male Child. But the woman was given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent” (Revelation 12:13-14). Again, “somewhere on this earth,” God has a true Church which is willing to “keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ” (v. 17). Please note also, my friends, that the “Place of Safety” is not up in heaven but “into the wilderness” (v. 14) where God will protect and nourish His true people.
Though God’s true Church is described as the “little flock” by Jesus Christ in Luke 12:32, it will do a truly powerful Work before the end of this age. That Work is already underway! You, as a subscriber to Tomorrow’s World magazine and probably a viewer of the Tomorrow’s World telecast, are already involved with this Work which was long ago predicted by Almighty God: “Beware therefore, lest what has been spoken in the prophets come upon you: ‘Behold, you despisers, marvel and perish! For I work a work in your days, a work which you will by no means believe, though one were to declare it to you’” (Acts 13:40-41).
As I am sure you subscribers realize, this Work is not part of the modern watered-down “mainstream Christianity.” It is, rather, the “Church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth” (1 Timothy 3:15). The Work of this Church is now reaching out to increasing millions with the specific end-time prophecies of your Bible, of the “way of escape” from the soon-coming Tribulation, and a genuine understanding of the very meaning of life itself.
Now approaching my 82nd birthday, I am still fervent to do my part in preparing the way for the return of the living Jesus Christ to this earth. All of you who have been on the Tomorrow’s World mailing list for any length of time know that my whole heart and being is to do the Work of Jesus Christ in this end time—to do His will in proclaiming and publishing the Gospel of the Kingdom of God. I’ve been committed to this Work for more than 60 years! But, personally, I am virtually powerless and cannot do this mighty Work by myself. Working directly with me are very dedicated servants of Jesus Christ, and backing our zealous team is one of the smallest groups of brethren (called the “little flock” in Luke 12:32) and a tiny group of co-workers (Matthew 9:37: “…The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few.”) Yet, this small Work and group of co-workers has been able to proclaim the Gospel literally around the world through nearly 300 TV stations and networks, our Website (www.TomorrowsWorld.org) and our international magazine Tomorrow’s World. During the last few years, our public campaigns (Tomorrow’s World Special Presentations) have reached thousands of people in cities around the world! And even this is only made possible by God’s blessings on this Work!
Just in the past three months we have been able to add nearly 70 TV stations and a network reaching more than 100 million homes. Our TV program in this past year was viewed by an estimated 11 million households! We thank God for this, but we are barely scratching the surface in a world filled with seven billion inhabitants. Jesus Christ, of course, is very well aware of this. He has His Father’s timetable and will open the doors for this Work to expand at His bidding—not ours. This past year we received a record number of responses—290,000—from the Tomorrow’s World telecast. From the Internet we had about 1.5 million visitors. With television, the Internet and our other media sources we received a record 1.1 million requests for our booklets, reprints, Bible lessons, compact discs and DVDs. And, as most of you well know, we sent all of this Christian material around the world totally free of charge to each requestor. This is a marvelous blessing and a personal blessing for all of you who have backed us in this Work with your prayers, tithes and offerings.
In addition to the above, I just now received a most encouraging report on a wonderful new growth opportunity on the Internet: “God is now opening up a major new door to broadcast the Tomorrow’s World telecast to potentially millions of new people around the world through Internet Television! In addition to the telecast being available from our web site and from platforms such as YouTube, by the time you receive this letter, the Tomorrow’s World telecast should be available 24/7/365 on Roku—one of the leading Internet TV devices that lets users stream ‘high definition’ programming directly to their televisions. We have also significantly increased our social media efforts in order to reach more people all around the world. As one small example of the rapid growth God has blessed us with, our Tomorrow’s World ‘Twitter’ followers should have passed 10,000 by the time you receive this letter!”
It is obvious to us that God is blessing our efforts and He will definitely bless all of those who help us preach this Gospel message: “But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work” (2 Corinthians 9:6-8). Time is short, and we need to do this Work while God’s “sun” shines and before Satan’s “night” turns this deceived world into utter Satanic darkness. As Jesus said, “I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work” (John 9:4).
We now have thousands of donors and co-workers who realize the vital importance of helping in this Work of the living Christ. They realize that this present age is truly coming to an end. They realize that, by supporting the very Work which Christ is doing now, they truly are laying up “treasures in heaven” (Matthew 6:20). And I want to take the opportunity in this letter to say thank you very, very much to all of you who have chosen to help us do this Work! I thank you and I thank God for His mercy in giving us genuine understanding of the end-time prophecies and of the real meaning of life.
