Dear Brethren and Co-Workers with Christ,
People being burned alive? Having their heads chopped off? Growing drought, disease epidemics, and major earthquakes?
Meanwhile, men “marrying” men? Millions more couples “living together” without marriage or commitment to family? Vastly more anti-Semitic attitudes and actions to frighten Jews across most of Europe and now the United States?
What’s going on?
As our formerly “Christian” nation turns more and more against God, against His laws, and it seems that “everything” is beginning to go wrong, can you “connect the dots”? For your own good, please do not “kid” yourself, my friends! These things are real. And they are destined to get much worse!
As the servant of the living God, I want to warn you that a major “turning point” is occurring in world affairs. After more than 62 years in God’s ministry—heavily involved in studying and analyzing world affairs in the light of Bible prophecy—I have the strong feeling that yet this year we will begin to see more major upheavals in world affairs, in the weather and in our own lives than ever before in modern times! As even the U.S. Supreme Court gives its “blessing” to the vile practice of men marrying men, do you think Almighty God is going to “stand aside” and do nothing? All of those who feel this way are in for a big shock! Almighty God will not be mocked forever. In His inspired Word, God directed the Apostle Paul to tell us about the ancient Greek philosophers—the supposedly “great thinkers” of his time: “Professing to be wise, they became fools….For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting” (Romans 1:22, 26-28). For those who are willing to listen, it should be very clear that God describes homosexual lusts as “vile passions.” And He warns us that people who give themselves over to this type of “debased mind” are going to receive a penalty! Often, people try to avoid the issue by just looking the other way and saying and doing nothing. Yet God describes these people, “who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them” (v. 32).
My friends: any of us seeking God’s blessing and protection in the perilous years just ahead must speak out—showing clear opposition to the vile practices increasing all around us—and let people know that we stand for what Jesus Christ taught and for what God’s Word clearly says. This is, at least, our small part. But we should also get deeply involved in the very Work of God which is reaching the world with increasing power. Even at the risk of persecution, true Christians are called to be “Christian soldiers” and be willing to fight for the real Truth of Almighty God and show others around them that they are a “light” to the world by being willing to “stand” for something. The Apostle Paul instructed Timothy: “You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also. You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ” (2 Timothy 2:1-3). Are you, personally, willing to lay down your life for Jesus Christ and what He taught? How real is Almighty God and His purpose to you? How much are you willing to act on that belief?
God always told His servants to act on the Truth—not just talk about it. God’s inspired Word tells us, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever” (Hebrews 13:8). And in Isaiah 58:1, the Eternal God commands His true servants: “Cry aloud, spare not; lift up your voice like a trumpet; tell My people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins.”
My friends, we in this Work of the living God are definitely reaching out with increasing power. We are now reaching more people in more ways than any other church of our type. We are grateful for this. But we do need all of you to “back us” with your prayers, your encouragement and your financial generosity in order to move forward and reach a very confused world that still does not know about the Truth. Are you, personally, willing to help? Are you willing to dig down deep and share generously in what God has given you so that the Truth may go out across this world in a way that people begin to hear and understand and realize, at least, that they have been warned? And that more of them will act on the Truth and be spared during the coming Great Tribulation and be protected supernaturally from what is prophesied to occur?
As the prophetic events we have warned you about for decades begin to occur with increasing ferocity, may God help each one of you to stand up and “show”—by your reactions and your zealous participation in the very Work of God—that you mean it when you declare that you are a Christian. That you mean it when you say you are willing to be a “Christian soldier.” For we are all called to fight for the Truth—to show those around us that we have enough faith in the living God that we are willing to stand for something. May God move you to become more involved in helping and backing this Work of the living God that we may have a more and more powerful impact on this very confused world before it is too late!
