Greetings from Charlotte,
Updates have been requested regarding the health of Canadian Regional Director Stuart Wachowicz and the travels of Dr. Douglas Winnail. Mr. Wachowicz did have a heart attack a few weeks back, which was treated with stints. He was back to work the next week and has been flying back and forth from his home in Edmonton, Alberta, to our Canadian Regional office in London, Ontario, and has been conducting meetings, giving online TWPs, and essentially carrying on as energetically as usual. Dr. Winnail returned safely from his recent trip, on which he visited members and ministers and conducted conferences in the Philippines, Australia, South Africa, and the UK. He reports that the trip went smoothly and that your prayers were answered and much appreciated.
With the Passover and Days of Unleavened Bread in two weeks, our onsite Living Education students are realizing how quickly the year has gone by, as they will be graduating in May. This morning, I was thinking that “we were young once.” Time may seem slow at times, but the years come and go. Before we realize it, we are 30 years of age, then 40, then 50, then—I think you get the point—we are no longer young. Life goes by and the reality and significance of Christ’s sacrifice for each of us becomes more important. Let us be sure to examine ourselves—our ways of thinking and acting, what is important to us and what is superfluous—as we approach this most meaningful Festival time.

Tomorrow’s World Presentations
Last week, we held seven in-person presentations and one online presentation. These presentations drew a total of 94 guests and 68 online connections. Particularly notable was the presentation in Adelaide, Australia, that drew 30 guests. This is an especially good attendance considering the number of subscribers invited. This week we will hold four follow-up presentations. Thank you all for your continued prayers and support for the Tomorrow’s WorldPresentations.
Passover 2025—Deadline for Requesting All Passover Supplies and Materials (Repeat Announcement)
Important Notice to All Pastors: The U.S. deadline for requesting Passover Service supplies is April 8. International requests should have already been sent in. The Passover Service will be observed on Friday evening, April 11. If congregations in your area need bread trays and/or wine trays or glasses or a physical copy of the Passover Service recording and letter instructions (available in English, French, and Spanish), please direct your requests to the Church Administration Department at [email protected]. Any requests for Passover Service recordings and letter instructions for home observance, needed by members who are unable to keep the Passover with a congregation, should also be received by the above deadline. If possible, submit your requests before the deadline to help us manage supplies and shipments. As in recent years, the digital Passover Service recording is available to pastors and video recipients via the FTP site, and a private YouTube link will also be provided.

Living Youth Program
Texas Teen Camp
Registration for camp is still open. We’re looking forward to a great bunch of campers and a solid staff for the Texas teen camp. We’ve not finalized all the staff positions, though we’re getting close to doing so. Before we finalize staff positions, we’d like to give one more word of encouragement to our young adults to take the opportunity to serve at camp. It’s a great opportunity for young adults to meet other young people in the Church in an atmosphere that is positive and service-oriented. It also gives young people who have gone through the camp program the opportunity to give back what they’ve learned over the years. To sign up, just go to http://camp.livingyouth.org.
Texas Preteen Camp
Calling all campers and staff! There is still time to apply for the Texas Preteen camp scheduled for July 21–25. This year, our theme will be Love your neighbor as yourself. Our focus in activities, Bible study, and conduct will be centered around this theme. Campers aged 8–12 interested in an opportunity to make friends and learn more about God’s way of life are encouraged to apply! Staff, we are looking for more crew to help facilitate a wonderful camp and shine a light on God’s way of life. In particular, we could use more male staff and those with lifeguard certification. However, we welcome applications from all those who are willing to come and help make a joyous camp. The application deadline is May 1, so apply soon!
LYP Europe – Summer 2025 (Repeat Announcement)

The weeklong camp runs from Monday, July 28, through Sunday, August 3 and is bilingual (French and English). Campers should plan to arrive by 4:00 p.m. on Monday, July 28, and to depart Monday, August 4. We ask Staff to plan to come earlier if possible. Church youth ages 12–19 are invited. Eliminating Spiritual Leaven: The Scriptures indicate that leaven is to be removed from our homes and not eaten during the Days of Unleavened Bread (Exodus 12:15). We need to remember that this is a physical exercise to help us realize the importance of identifying and removing spiritual leaven that tends to creep into our lives from the world. Spiritual leaven involves breaking the commandments of God, compromising or rebelling against His instructions, and exhibiting the attitudes and works of the flesh (Galatians 5:19–21). Yet we are also instructed to eat unleavened bread for seven days (Leviticus 23:6). As we prepare to take the Passover and go through the Days of Unleavened Bread, it may be helpful to reread the booklet on the Ten Commandments. We need to ask God to help us see any spiritual leaven that we need to eliminate from our lives so we can really become more like our Father and more like our Savior, Jesus Christ.
Have a profitable Sabbath,
Douglas S. Winnail
News and Prophecy – March 27, 2025
A Growing Eastern Alliance: For decades, South Korea and Japan have been closely aligned with the United States in ideological opposition to China. For its part, China has traditionally supported North Korea, the enemy of South Korea. However, key global allegiances are realigning before our eyes—in line with prophetic conditions this Work has warned about for decades.
Last week in Tokyo, leaders from China, Japan, and South Korea met to discuss common economic and security issues and growing global uncertainty (Reuters, March 22, 2025). The Japanese foreign minister commented, “I believe we may truly be at a turning point in history.” The leaders agreed to hold a summit later in the year. They also discussed the powerful impact their three nations could have on geopolitics if they work together. And China expressed the desire to increase the membership of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership—a 15-nation free-trade agreement that includes these countries.
Bible prophecy foretells an unprecedented military powerhouse originating from a region east of Jerusalem and the Euphrates River at the end of the age. This group of “kings from the east” will eventually enter the Middle East and gather at Armageddon with the rest of “the kings of the earth and of the whole world” (Revelation 16:12–16) to travel together to Jerusalem and confront the returning Messiah. As we watch the realignment of economically and militarily powerful nations in Asia, these pivotal Bible prophecies should be kept in mind. To learn more about the future of the Asian nations, be sure to read Revelation: The Mystery Unveiled.
The Immune System Is More Complex Than Originally Thought: Scientists have studied the immune system for decades and have come to understand it in much greater detail. However, a newly published study in the highly respected journal Nature describes how this remarkable system has once again baffled scientists with its power and complexity (BBC, March 5, 2025).
Scientists recently discovered that “a part of the body known to recycle proteins has a secret mode that can spew out an arsenal of bacteria-killing chemicals.” According to the Israeli researchers who conducted the research, it “transforms our understanding of how we are protected against infection.” The newly discovered process occurs throughout the body and in every single cell of the body. And the sobering thing is that it has been happening all along, unbeknownst to those studying biological immunity! The discovery of this process only adds to our understanding of the complexity of the immune system and the body in general. The head of life sciences at Imperial College London observed, “What’s really exciting about this, is it’s a totally undiscovered process by which anti-germ molecules are made inside our cells, it feels profoundly important and surprising.” Researchers see this new discovery as a potential treasure-trove for the development of new antibiotics.
As time goes on and more research occurs, the complexity of the human body continues to reveal itself. Those who are intellectually honest must admit that the powerful, intricate processes occurring within the body are far too complex, precise, and purposeful to have evolved over time on their own. These mechanisms demand a designer and a great deal of intelligence—intelligence that does not exist in a hypothetical evolutionary process that occurs by chance and in reaction to outside forces. To learn more about the proofs that this Designer exists, be sure to read or listen to The Real God: Proofs and Promises. —Scott Winnail, Chris Sookdeo, and Francine Prater
