A small annual fee provides full access to this huge collection.

Jstor is a digital library for scholars, researchers, and students, with more than 10 million academic journal articles and ebooks in 2,400 scholarly journals across 75 disciplines. You can search by title, author, subject and abstract. Once you register, you may log in quickly and it’s free. While there are resources requiring fees, there is a wealth of entirely free worthwhile information. Type your desired topic in the search bar, scroll to the bottom left of the home page and indicate your desire to either read online or download. You may choose the “Advanced Search” option and limit to a specific discipline to refine your findings.

Theological Commons
A digital library of over 80,000 resources on theology and religion, including periodicals, audio recordings, and other formats. The Theological Commons only includes materials that are either out of copyright or have special copyright holder permission. The PDF files in Theological Commons contain digital images of the printed pages from a physical book. Many e-book readers cannot display such PDF files while full-fledged tablet computers such as iPad and Kindle Fire can.
